Roads and Maritime Services) is seeking submissions in response to its Invitation for Request for Proposal for the Panel of Architectural Acoustic Treatment - Builders.

Roads and Maritime Services implements an annual Noise Abatement Program (NAP) to mitigate noise impacts associated with existing State and Federal roads that are not subject to any upgrade proposals and where road traffic noise levels are high.

Roads and Maritime Services will establish a Panel of Architectural Acoustic Treatment Builders to implement / install acoustic treatments to residential buildings on behalf of Roads and Maritime. It is estimated that treatment of 80 to 200 residences each year may be required. Appointment to this Panel as an Architectural Acoustic Treatment Builder (referred to as “Contractor” in C41- Conditions of Contract) to provide architectural acoustic treatment installation will not guarantee any amount of work.

Roads and Maritime Services have established a separate Panel of Panel of Architectural Acoustic Treatment - Acoustic Treatment Contractors which scope the works and manage the architectural acoustic treatment on behalf of Roads and Maritime Services.  

All tenderers must comply with the New South Wales Government’s Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework) and Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code).  Copies of the NSW Framework and NSW Code are available at www.procurepoint.nsw.gov.au.

A pre-tender meeting will be held at 2.30pm on Thursday the 10^th October 2019 at the Level 8, 10 Smith Street, Parramatta.  Attendance at this meeting is mandatory in order to submit a conforming tender.
