Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / F3 Southbound Heavy Vehicle Checking Station at Mt White - RTA.6003.184.RC.5231

This is a quality assurance contract.

Tenders are invited from contractors pre-qualified with RTA at Class R20 or higher and with the NSW Department of Commerce, Contractor Best Practice Accreditation Scheme, 2005-2007

This contract is for the construction of a Heavy Vehicle Checking Station on the F3 - Sydney to Newcastle Freeway on the southbound carriageway approximately opposite to the existing northbound checking station at Mt White.

The new facility will be constructed utilising a section of the existing southbound carriageway made redundant by the recent widening of the F3 to three lanes in each direction from Mt White to Jolls Bridge.

Works were completed during the widening to provide ingress and egress at the redundant southbound carriageway and a SAFE-T-CAM system including gantry and associated cameras were installed during early 2005.

This contract is for the roadworks, building construction, structural works and mechanical and electrical installation work (including wiring) associated with the new facility.

Tender documents, at a non-refundable cost of $55.00 per set, are available on payment via the website https://www.tenders.nsw.gov.au/rta. Please note that documents will be supplied in electronic format on CD.

A pre-tender meeting and a site inspection will be held 10am, on Monday, 10 July 2006 at RTA Works Depot, 19 Cobbs Road, Tuggerah NSW 2259. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
