Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / HW6 Lignum Creek Bridge Replacement - RMS.16.0000303557.2108

Roads and Maritime Services is inviting tenders for the construction of new 72 metres long bridge over Lignum Creek on the Mid-Western Highway, 5 kilometres east of Marsden.

The new bridge comprises of 4 spans (4 x 18 metres) of precast prestressed super-T girders with a composite reinforced concrete deck slab.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.

A pre-tender meeting will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday 6 February 2018, at Forbes Services Memorial Club, 41 - 43 Templar Street, Forbes followed by a site visit.

Attendance at this pre-tender meeting is mandatory in order to submit a conforming Tender.

The Contractor must also hold current accreditation under the NSW Government WHS Management Systems and Auditing Guidelines (5th edition) for Roads and Maritime work at the time of closing of this tender.

The pretensioned precast concrete girders must be manufactured by a contractor who is prequalified with Roads and Maritime under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts at Category C1
