Roads and Maritime is planning to issue a tender for stockpiling work referred to as Northern Lands Temporary Stockpiling.
The Northern Lands is Commonwealth land located in St. Peters on the south of Canal Road between Burrows Road and Princes Highway and is accessible from Burrows Road South.
The Northern Lands Temporary Stockpiling is expected to be a “construct only” contract, which includes the:
- construction of a temporary transfer station, an associated basin and drainage
- the placement, compaction and monitoring of an approximate 430,000 Tonnes stockpile. This stockpile is comprised of clean general fill, including safety and environmental management of the work and the provision of quality assurance and compliance documentation.
The tender is expected to be released in August 2019 with award in quarter 4 2019.
Companies who wish to tender for this work must be prequalified under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction for Roadworks with a Financial Level of F50 or above, and R3 or above.
All applicants must comply with the New South Wales Government’s Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and Implementation Guidelines to the New South Wales Code of Practice for Procurement: Building and Construction (NSW Guidelines).
