This is a Quality Assurance Contract. 

The NSW Government's Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government's Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement for: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project. Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest of tender response) and to any successful applications being awarded. Tenders are invited from registered Contractors for detail design and geotechnical investigations for the MR51 Kings Highway, Nelligen Bridge project. A pass code will be provided to the selected tenderers only.  

Prequalification:

The organisation undertaking detailed design activities must be registered on the Roads and Maritime Complex Bridge Design panel (Panel Number 14.2166.0501).

Work Description:

This Contract includes the detailed design of a two lane, 10 span Super-T bridge over the Clyde River on MR51 Kings Highway at Nelligen. It also includes upgrades to the road approaches on either side of the bridge, with a total project length of 1.7km and the removal of the existing bridge over the Clyde River at this location. 

A pre-tender meeting will be held on Wednesday, 2 August 2017 at 10:00am at the Sage Hotel, 60-62 Harbour Street, Wollongong NSW 2500. Attendance at the pre-tender meeting is mandatory to submit a conforming tender. Numbers are limited to 4 people per company.

Tenders close Friday 18 August 2017. Tenders are to be submitted via the eTender website.
