Tender Details

Sydney Trains objective is to establish a long tern agreement with a suitable and specialised supplier to provide On-Track Herbicide Application to the Sydney Trains Rail Network. Projects defined in the annual maintenance program on behalf of Sydney Trains create a safe, reliable passenger fleet and metropolitan rail network, designed to meet the expectations of customers.

The application of herbicide to the On-Track area of the track is critical in the prevention of rectification works to rail track and ballast including the cess drain from weed infestations. This assists in a reduction of unnecessary maintenance on all sections of the rail network.

It is imperative Sydney Trains engage a supplier who can conduct these activities in compliance with any access protocols and procedures specified by the principal for the worksites.

To gain access to the tender documents in Ariba over the internet once access is provided, please ensure that you are using Windows PC with web browser Internet Explorer Version 6, 7or above.

Tenderers need to fill out the Annexure B Process and Confidentiality Deed Poll (not electronically) within the Invitation to Tender document and send it back through ARIBA.

Only once the Annexure B Process and Confidentiality Deed Poll (Page 38) has been physically signed and verified will the participant be permitted to attend the Tender Briefing.(This will be carried out by myself).

This form needs to be signed by the appropriate delegate in each organisation.(i.e. company director/secretary or director/director)
