Sydney Trains & NSW Trains / Telecommunication Backbone Cable and Minor Route Rectification Panel - WS1459636180

Sydney Trains is responsible for maintaining the rail communications infrastructure to support its operations. It has been identified that particular fibre optic and copper cables require, installation and/or replacement in order to maintain system integrity and quality of services supported, on this infrastructure.

Purpose of this RFT  is to establish  prequalified panel for;

1) The supply and installation of backbone Telecommunication Optical Fibre and Copper cables

2) Minor route rectification works,

 to provide communications and signalling support for Sydney Trains.

Installation of Telecommunication Backbone Fibre Optic Cables from Lawson to Mount Victoria and Edgecliff to Woollahra would be used as sample sites to provide tenderers an opportunity to understand the scope of works and to provide pricing for the panel tender.

Successful tenderers would be awarded contracts to deliver works for these sample sites.
