Sydney Trains (Principal) is a New South Wales Government Agency constituted under the Transport Administration Act 1988 (NSW) and the Transport Administration (General) Regulation 2005 (NSW), with responsibility for the provision of passenger rail services within New South Wales.

The Principal requires a suitably qualified contractor to repair pile foundation structures of 18nos 66kV overhead transmission line poles located in the tidal waters of Mullet Creek in Wondabyne area. The HV poles for repairs are located to the east of the Main North rail line between 61.000km and 66.000km. Foundation structure of each HV pole consists of a precast, X-shaped capping beam supported by 4 piles. Piles consist of cylindrical steel encased in a protective precast concrete pipe with grout infill.  Repairs are required to restore corrosion protection to the steel piles and capping beams.

The successful Contractor is required to set up and conduct a trial off- site on a replica pile under controlled condition prior to commencement of work on site. The off-site trial is to demonstrate the installation of repair system by the Contractor ensuring no epoxy leakage.
