Sydney Trains (including NSW Trains locations) is tendering a new asset Greenfield revenue opportunity to add to its current advertising portfolio being; Bus shelters and Interchanges located on RailCorp freehold land via an open market RFP.
The services contemplated under this tender are a full outsource model with Sydney Trains providing access to approved assets (bus stops, interchanges and other stops (eg Kiss & Ride, Taxi Stands, etc)) for the supplier to supply, install, operate, maintain and sell and manage third party advertising to generate revenue.
The Contractor shall, in the initial phase of the contract be required to assess and construct/modify bus shelters (if not currently available) as a Build-Operate and Transfer (BOT) arrangement with Sydney Trains.
Of the 57 locations available across NSW, which are a mixture of premium, metro and regional stations, the types of advertising assets available are:
a) Interchanges – large existing infrastructure providing an opportunity for the selected supplier to install advertising assets into.
b) Bus Stop with Existing Shelter – a bus stop that has an existing shelter at that location. A bus stop may have one or multiple shelters at that location.
c) Bus Stop without a Shelter – a bus stop that does not currently have a shelter at that location. The supplier would be responsible to build a new shelter.
Domination Advertising – the supplier will nominate which bus stops could be considered for domination advertising.
