Tender Details
This tender is for Contract No. 34 / 2018 – Security Services for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Schedule of Rates with Rise and Fall in costs every 12 months (refer to Special Conditions Clause SC3).
The Tendering companies must hold the relevant NSW Master Security Licence in accordance with the NSW Security Industry Act 1997 for each Part tendered.
All staff used by the Tenderer under this contract must hold a NSW Security License 1 or 2 relevant to the activities being performed under each Part of this contract, in accordance with the NSW Security Industry Act 1997.
The works under this contract will generally include:
Part A: Security manpower and patrols covering static guards, crowd control, mobile patrols, locking and unlocking service and secure collection/ cash in transit
Part B: Electronic security covering alarm installation and maintenance and alarm monitoring
Tenderers may tender for either Part A or Part B or both Parts A and B.
All tendered rates shall be inclusive of GST.
Council reserves the right to award each Part to one or several tenderers and sub-parts to the same or different tenderers.

Conditions for Participation
- All Tenderers must hold a NSW Master Security Licence with the relevant sub class, and staff must hold NSW Security Licence Class 1 or Class 2 relevant to the service being provided under each Part, in accordance with the NSW Security Industry Act 1997 as amended.
- All Tender Submission Document Forms must be submitted, completed in full and all required verification documents included. Forms shall be completed in full and in the format or in the units requested.
- Any Tenderer’s own conditions or qualifications resulting in the tender not being in accordance with the Conditions of Tendering or Conditions of Contract or Service Requirements will not be accepted and will result in the tender not being considered.
Estimated Timeframe for Delivery
Due to the Christmas holidays this contract will not be awarded until February 2019.
