In line with BCC's accommodation strategy and due to the increasing demand for workspace and storage area at its Rooty Hill Depot, Blacktown Council proposes to improve the Depot's administration office space and augment external yard storage and parking space.
This contract is for the construction of the
- Proposed extension to the Administrations Building and refurbishment ;
- Augmentation of and alterations to existing on-site car parking facilities;
- Construction of three (3) storage sheds;
- New storage area compound at the northern extremity of the existing car park; and
- Roof connection of two small buildings on site.
- Hard and soft landscape works
The works under this contract include part demolition of existing building, capping of existing services, connection and reconnection to services.
There are no associated construction contracts. The builder with have possession and control the whole of the construction Site.

A non-compulsory Pre-Tender briefing will be held at 2.00pm, Monday, 1st April 2019. Location is, Blacktown Council’s Rooty Hill Work Depot, Station Street Rooty Hill. Limited parking will be available on the northern side of the car park , turn left as you enter. Meeting in the staff car park on the right and side, behind the Administration Building. The Tenderer must familiarise itself with the Works and the Site prior to submission of its tender.
