WSROC is seeking to engage a professional (includes a consultant) to scope, manage and deliver a regional energy efficiency and sustainability program (the WSROC Energy Efficiency Program) on behalf of a collective of participating Western Sydney councils.  The aim for the two-year program (with two, one – year options if mutually acceptable), is to ultimately become an ongoing sustainable, self-funded initiative.  The successful professional / consultant will be required to operate from the WSROC Office, with accommodation provided as part of this assignment.

The Role, Responsibilities and Accountabilities of this position are detailed in Part D – Scope of Work.  Further information on WSROC is available on the website at

A Steering Committee will be put in place to provide strategic direction, guidance, set priorities and assist in developing a work plan.  Members of the Steering Committee will be appointed by the participating Councils’ General Managers / Chief Executive Officers.

WSROC anticipates that the process will result in the appointment of a Contractor, ranked in order of preference based on the evaluation criteria.  It is expected that the highest ranked contractor will obtain the work available under the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
