Offers are invited for the preparation of an Engineering Design Manual in collaboration with the Councils of Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Penrith and Wollondilly.
The Manual is to provide a uniform, local government engineering design specification for all nine Councils that sets clear expectations, helps to simplify the development assessment process, delivers better outcomes for residents and reduces costs to homebuyers.
The Manual will facilitate the delivery of the principles within the Western City District Plan and will look at new innovative approaches to engineering design that are focussed on achieving environmental and liveability outcomes for existing and future residents.
The project is being managed through the Western Sydney Planning Partnership (WSPP) and is funded by the Commonwealth Government.
A project briefing will be held on Tuesday 25 June 2019 at 10:00am located on Level 6, 56 Station Street, Parramatta NSW 2150.
