Central Coast Council / Upgrade of Sewage Pump Station WS11 - CPA/249912

Wyong Shire Council’s Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) WS11 is scheduled for an upgrade to address a number of service deficiencies including insufficient emergency storage, odour issues and reliability of the existing emergency relief system.

SPS WS11 is located in Apex Park, Wyong at street address 150 Pacific Highway Wyong, NSW 2259. Access to the site is via an access road that connects North Road and Cutler Drive. The pumping station receives the discharge from a gravity catchment as well as 26 subsidiary stations and then pumps some 5.2 km along a rising main to the inlet works of the Wyong South wastewater treatment plant.

Full details of the scope of work and any exclusions are included in the attached Specification (Attachment 2) and Drawings (Attachment 3).

A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at SPS WS11, Apex Park Wyong, commencing at 1 pm on Tuesday, 20 January 2015.

This is lump sum contract based on AS2124-1992 General Conditions of Contract. The contract period for completion is 52 weeks from the date of the Letter of Acceptance of the Tender.

The tendered lump sum must include all costs necessary to provide the works under the Contract including without limitation the cost of all personnel, materials, plant and equipment, fuel, consumables, mobilisation, demobilisation, support systems, overheads, profit, travelling time, expenses, disbursements, fees and charges and all other associated costs.

The fee and rates are fixed and not subject to escalation or review

Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with the Preferred Tenderer.

Note due to the Christmas Holiday period no enquiries regarding the RFT will be responded to prior to 06/01/2015.
