Wyong Shire Council is seeking tenders for a contract to engage the services a qualified and experienced scrap metal merchant. The scope of the Contract Works includes, but is not limited to, the provision of collection bins at Wyong Shire Council's Long Jetty, Charmhaven Depot’s and the Bateau Bay Treatment Plant for the temporary storage of scrap metals, the provision of plant and other equipment for the collection and removal of scrap metals stored in the collection bins at the depots and treatment plant or in bulk stockpiles at the Buttonderry Waste Management Facility.
The Works will also include the collection of vehicle batteries at the Long Jetty and Charmhaven Depots and the Buttonderry Waste Management Facility. The Contractor will be required to make payments to the Principal for the scrap metal collected.
