Tender Details

Remove existing asbestos cable duct and replace with an appropriate enclosure system. The enclosure system will contain the existing electrical hydraulic, and water services between the outlet works control building and the outlet valves. The existing duct is attached to a stairway between the two structures which is at height above the dam outlet water channel.

The contractor is to disconnect existing services and remove and dispose of the asbestos duct. A new enclosure system is to be installed that provides full mechanical and UV protection to all services installed within the enclosure.

The electrical cables should be re-used, the hydraulic pipes may be modified using stainless steel pipe, and the water pipes may be replaced.
