Tender Details
The objective of this engagement is to investigate concept design for works and associated detailed hydraulic analysis for the water savings work along Old Man’s Creek from Beavers Creek Weir to its re-entry to the Murrumbidgee River.
The scope of this engagement is to:
· Collate, review and quality check of all necessary data. Principal will provide the Ditigal Elevation Model to the successful tenderer.
· Conduct additional bathymetric survey, geotechnical and site investigations as required for concept design
· Conduct a preliminary environmental assessment and identify ‘environmentally sensitive areas/issues’ and appropriate mitigatory measures; Also identify an ecologically appropriate watering regime.
· Perform hydraulic analysis as necessary to develop the concept details including consultation with stakeholders and agencies to confirm the concept design and any options.
· Provide concept design and options with drawings and details of proposed structures, operating details, design criteria and other information to support.
· Clarify queries raised by stakeholders.
· Submit draft report with the findings of the study including costs and recommendations.
· Submit final report for the Old Man’s Creek concept design.
This project will be staged in consultation with various Agencies and stakeholders.
The consultant shall submit a detailed proposal, methodology, type and details of investigations and project plan with the tender to comply with the scope and provide all the necessary details including hold points, any intermediate meetings, reports to fully express the Tender. The consultant may also submit additional inputs or innovations to the Request for Tender or any number of alternative Tenders along with a conforming Tender to achieve the desired outcomes and these will be considered if suitable.
The program shall be as follows:
§ Draft Report and drawings: to be presented to Principal within twelve (12) weeks from the date of acceptance.
§ Final Report and drawings: to be presented fourteen (14) weeks from the date of acceptance.
