State Water Corporation / Consultancy Services for the Detailed design and Environmental Impact Assessment of water saving works in Old Man Creek - SWCDoc11/1892

The scope of this engagement is to

·         Review of existing data and reports; conduct any additional surveys and site investigations as required.

·         Performance of necessary detailed designs of water saving works and fishway so that constructions drawings, specifications and cost estimates are prepared.

·         Reporting on detailed design with operating details, design criteria, drawings, specifications and cost estimates.

·         Conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment Environmental Impact Assessment for the proposed works in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act), other legislations and/or any relevant amendments by this Consultancy for the Principal’s concurrence and approval by determining authority. This includes identifying ‘environmentally sensitive areas/issues’ and appropriate mitigatory measures leading up to obtaining necessary approvals to build and operate necessary structures. The assessment shall be as per State Water’s Environment and Heritage Assessment Procedures given in Information Supplied by the Principal; further details are as detailed in section 3.

·         Prepare a draft Environmental Management Plan for both construction and operation phases (CEMP and OEMP) considering all mitigatory measures and operating requirements.

·         Consultation with Agencies and major stakeholders including the PCG

·         Submit draft detailed design and EIA reports.

·         Review stakeholder feedback and produce final detailed design and EIA reports.
