Tender Details

This engagement involves design, supply and installation of hydraulics and automation systems for the outlet works for three (3) coastal dams. The engagement includes but is not limited to:

· Supply and installation of the new automation system, including PLC and local HMI to control and monitor items of plants associated with the outlet valves;

· Supply and installation of new hydraulic systems, including hydraulic pumps, power pack, accumulators, solenoid control valves and associated instrumentation, to actuate the required valves;

· supply and installation of a manual backup hand pump, or allowance for a portable pump to be connected, and manual directional control valves to operate the regulating valves if the hydraulic system fails;

· Supply and installation of a new electro-mechanical relay control and motor started circuit for the outlet works;

· Supply and installation of power supply and distribution for all new equipment including new battery backed power supply systems;

· Supply and installation of the new cubicles, to house the new automation system, hydraulic equipment, electro-magnetic relay controls, power supply and distribution systems and local control panel indictors;

· Modifications to the existing electrical distribution systems to suit the automation infrastructure; and

· Removal of the redundant equipment.

Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Additional Details / Instructions

The works involve both hydraulics and automation upgrade. Tenders submitted must be for all of the works.

Tenderers must attend a mandatory site inspection and meeting on the date specified in the RFT document. All tenderers must contact the nominated RFT contact person to advise of attendance at the mandatory site inspection.
