Tender Details
Constructed in 1935, the existing structure is in a state of disrepair. The Wakool Off-take Regulator is located at E308316.1, N 6069365.5. The waterway between the abutments is 12 m wide and 2.1 m high. The major works of Wakool off-take Regulator refurbishment works involves the following:
Design, manufacture, install and anchor to the existing regulator floor and abutment walls of a modular gated structure, made of marine grade aluminium, sized to fit in the space between the two existing abutment walls with operational capability.
The concept design report (for information only) attached to this tender has a drawing (Sample only) detailing the type and configuration of the structure that the Principal envisaged to have installed.
In Addition to what is shown on this drawing, a control hut to house the stand-by generator, when solar power for the operation of the gates is not sufficient, to be built. Removal of existing “trestle-drop boards” structure, building coffer dam and diversion are the other activities to consider.
