Tender Details
The Old Man Creek (Beavers Creek) system is a south side anabranch of the Murrumbidgee River west of Wagga Wagga in NSW. The major weir is located near the property "Mundowey" in Collingullie village, 26km along Stuart highway west of Wagga.
The water saving works to be constructed under the OMC project includes:
1. Upgrade of existing Beavers Creek weir with concrete/earth/ rock
2. Construction of a diversion channel
3. Construction of a new regulator structure in the diversion channel
4. Construction of a sheet pile fishway
5. Upgrade of Dog Fall Creek weir with concrete and rock
6. Installation of a earth/rock block bank at 'Old' Old Man Creek
Also includes supply and installation aluminium tilting gates, Stainless Steel side winder gates, gearboxes, actuators, SCADA / automation, electrical works and other ancillary works, . Further details are provided in the contract documents.

There will be a mandatory site meeting on 9.12.2011 at 10.00 am at the existing Beavers Creek Weir site. It is also required that the tenderers are to register their interest before 11.00am on 8.12.2011 with the contact person.
