Tender Details

Burrendong Dam Upgrade: Stage 1B - Spillway Investigations and preparing Concept Design involves:

  • Reviewing all the available information and outcomes of previous studies and reports for better appraisal of the issues involved:
  • Undertaking following investigations on the spillway and structural equipment to satisfy the PMPDF flows:

- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD);

- 3- D Finite Element Structural analysis on radial gates;

- Gate hoist and drive train investigations;

- Geotechnical Investigations;

- Spillway Chute investigations;

- Electrical and controls investigations;

- Recommending procurement Strategy;

- Detailed Cost estimates;

and

  • Producing a detailed Concept Design and drawings for the preferred option for increasing the spillway capacity to handle extreme floods (PMPDF flow);

The RFT Preview Document must be completed and submitted to obtain the passcode prior to download of the RFT documents.
