Tender Details

 

Hume Dam is located approximately 15 km by road from Albury on the Riverina Hwy and approximately 20km from Wodonga via the Murray Valley Hwy.

Management of routine scheduled and condition based maintenance, as well as operation of the structure and associated works is undertaken by State Water Corporation (State Water) on behalf of the Murray Darling Basin Authority. Grounds maintenance to facilities associated with the operation of Hume Dam includes vegetation control to lands, public parks and structures to ensure the safe and efficient operation and monitoring of the critical infrastructure as well as the provision of safe, presentable and usable public recreation areas and facilities.

This Tender relates to services comprising of mowing and brush cutting the Hume Dam Public Park area and the Cottage Area located at the NSW side of the Hume Dam Wall as detailed in Plan no. 2. Details of the Scope of Works and Schedule of Works are contained within Annexure Specifications Mowing Of Public Parks and Cottage Areas.

Additional Details / Instructions

A mandatory site inspection will be held at Hume Dam Works Depot located just past the Lake Hume Village and will commence at 11.00am to 1.00pm , Tuesday 6th of December 2011.

No Tender shall be accepted without the tenderer having attended the mandatory site inspection.

The Tender submitted shall include details of similar works previously undertaken and a description of the type of equipment that will be used to complete the works and the suitability of the equipment relevant to the tender.
