State Water Corporation / Mowing of Embankments at Hume Dam - SWCDoc11/25543

Hume Dam is located approximately 15 km by road from Albury on the Riverina Hwy and approximately 20km from Wodonga via the Murray Valley Hwy.

Management of routine scheduled and condition based maintenance, as well as operation of the structure and associated works is undertaken by State Water Corporation (State Water) on behalf of the Murray Darling Basin Authority. Grounds maintenance to facilities associated with the operation of Hume Dam includes vegetation control to lands, public parks and structures to ensure the safe and efficient operation and monitoring of the critical infrastructure as well as the provision of safe, presentable and usable public recreation areas and facilities.

This Service Agreement relates to services comprising of mowing and brush cutting Hume Dam Embankments Number 1, 2, 3 and 4. as detailed in Plan Annexure numbers 3,4,5,6. Details of the Scope of Works and Schedule of Works are contained within Annexure Specifications Mowing Of Embankments.

 The Tender submitted shall include details of similar works previously undertaken and a description of the type of equipment that will be used to complete the works and the suitability of that equipment.

Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

A mandatory site inspection will be held at Hume Dam Works Depot located just past the Lake Hume Village and will commence at 8.30am to 11.30am, Monday 5^th of December 2011.
