State Water Corporation / Event Tree Generation, Risk Analysis and Portfolio Risk Assessment Report for State Water PRA Update 2012 - SWCDoc12/3000

This engagement involves the Event Tree, Risk Analysis and PRA Report component of the State Water PRA Update 2012 to be conducted primarily in accordance with the NSW Dam Safety Committee (DSC) guides and requirements (2010) on risk assessment and the approach outlined in the ANCOLD Risk Assessment Guidelines (2003).

This component of PRA update will be conducted for 18 State Water dams including:

Carcoar Dam
Chaffey Dam
Copeton Dam
Glenbawn Dam
Glennies Creek Dam
Keepit Dam
Lostock Dam
Oberon Dam
Pindari Dam
Rydal Dam
Split Rock Dam
Toonumbar Dam
Windamere Dam
Wyangala Dam

The main tasks will include:

• Data review and familiarisation
• Hazard analysis and initiating event determination
• Failure modes analysis 
• Event Tree analysis and workshop reviews
• Risk analysis, tolerable risk assessment and preliminary risk reduction analysis
• Risk assessment reporting tool/documentation
• Pra draft and final reporting
