Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Mona Vale Road Upgrade (Stage 2) – At-Property Noise Treatment (Noise Insulation Program) - 19.0000302605.0833-0038

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is inviting suitably experienced and qualified Service Providers (Builders) to participate in the tender process for the Mona Vale Road Upgrade (Stage 2) Noise Insulation Program.

The Mona Vale Road Upgrade (East) project from two lanes to four lanes between Manor Road, Terrey Hills and Foley Street, Mona Vale. The project will be staged to provide customers with a better travelling experience and to improve safety and traffic efficiency.

To minimise the impact of our project on local residents, TfNSW is delivering at-property noise treatment to eligible properties. Noise treatment refers to architectural acoustic measures, which aim to improve the sound resistance of properties, such as upgrading of windows, doors, and seals, and in some instances mechanical ventilation.

TfNSW have developed a Noise Insulation Program, which outlines the criteria and process for delivering noise treatment to affected properties as part of the project.

The at-property noise treatment works will support the delivery of the project by starting in conjunction with the Main Works so eligible customers are treated as early as possible.

The noise treatment works incorporates dwellings surrounding the project along Mona Vale Road and its surrounds.

To successfully participate in the tender process for the Project, organisations:

1. Must be pre-qualified under the TfNSW (Transport for NSW) Architectural Acoustic Treatment panel (AATB Builders) 
2. Must Attend a pre-tender meeting, which the project team will hold on Tuesday, 18th July 2023. Details of this meeting will be provided to the relevant organisation via email. Organisations wishing to attend the Pre-Tender Meeting must provide relevant contact details to Tejas Mistry Tejas.Mistry@transport.nsw.gov.au.

Without any obligation to do so, where the integrity of the tender process is not compromised, TfNSW may determine (in its absolute discretion) that it is appropriate to consider a late tender submission.
