The Pitt Town Bypass project will provide a bypass for the Pitt Town urban area, directly connecting Pitt Town Road with Cattai Road. Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from pre-qualified contractors with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification Scheme at roadworks category R3, bridgeworks category B3 and financial level F25. This work consists of a new 950-metre, two-lane, undivided road connecting Pitt Town Road and Cattai Road, a new single lane roundabout over Hortons Creek at Pitt Town Road, Bathurst Street and Glebe Road intersection, a new bridge over Hortons Creek and a new single lane roundabout at Pitt Town Road, Eldon Street and Old Pitt Town Road intersection. The successful tenderer will be selected through a two-phase procurement process. The first phase requires applicants to submit an EOI in response to the advertisement as per the link provided in the Related RFT ID field or the Related Web Site Address field. A shortlist of applicants will then be selected from this EOI process and invited to tender for the work.
A face-to-face EOI briefing will be held at 4 Parramatta Square, 12 Darcy Street, Parramatta, NSW, 2150 on Thursday, 27 June 2024 at 9:30am. Attendance is encouraged, but not mandatory to submit a conforming EOI. Prospective applicants must pre-register by 5pm on 25 June 2024 with the details (name, designation, and email address) of attendees (maximum 2 per applicant) via email to the Contact Person at ptbp.delivery@transport.nsw.gov.au.
Prospective applicants will need to complete, sign, and return the confidentiality deed (in accordance with the instructions in that deed) via email to the Contact Person at ptbp.delivery@transport.nsw.gov.au prior to being given the passcode to access the EOI documents as well as access to the EOI briefing meeting.
Transport intends to issue the passcode to the applicants by 12 June 2024 or a later date upon receipt of properly executed confidentiality deed.
All applicants must comply with the Transport Statement of Business Ethics through the procurement process and any subsequent contract period.

3 applicants (plus 1 reserve) will be shortlisted from the EOI stage to participate in the RFT stage. The applicant in reserve may be invited to participate in the event any of the 3 shortlisted applicants are unable to participate in the RFT stage.
