The Transport for NSW (TfNSW) Easing Sydney’s Congestion (ESC) Program Office was established to deliver significant improvements to reduce Sydney's congestion. The ESC Program Office is responsible for delivering targeted improvements across Sydney’s road network, with a focus on operational efficiency, smart technology and innovation.
As part of this delivery program, TfNSW is providing an industry briefing to offer an overview of the upcoming projects to engage with interested suppliers. The three projects included in the industry briefing are:
• Improvements to King Georges Road and Connells Point Road intersection, South Hurstville
• Waratah Street and Princes Highway intersection upgrade, Kirrawee
• Pennant Hills Road and North Rocks Road intersection improvements, Carlingford
These projects are likely to progress to tender in 2023.
The industry briefing for these projects is being held via livestream at 10am on 31 January 2023. A recording of the livestream will be available to view after the event on the Transport Infrastructure Industry Portal.
The briefing will provide information on the Easing Sydney’s Congestion Program Office, the three identified projects and the Registration of Interest and procurement process that will be undertaken for the projects.
Attendance at the industry briefing is not mandatory to participate in the Registration of Interest process which will be advertised separately on eTender.
