This is a Quality Assurance contract.
Tenderers must comply with the NSW Governments Code of Practice for Procurement.
Tenders are invited from pre-qualified contractors at Bridgeworks Class B40 or higher and Roadworks Class R10 or higher. In addition, the contractor or any sub-contractor will require prequalification B40 or higher for Bridge construction, R10 or higher for road construction, A2 for Asphalt pavement and CC for prestressed girder manufacture. The earthworks, formwork and traffic control components of the work must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class E, F and G respectively or pre-qualified for roadworks and or bridgeworks as applicable. The Primary Testing of the works (including sampling) must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class L2.
Please note that documents will be supplied in electronic format on CD.
A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held at EcoPoint Myall Shores Resort, Bombah Point (Myall National Park), on Wednesday 10 September 2008 starting at 10.30 am. Attendance at the pre-tender meeting and site inspection is mandatory in order to submit a conforming tender.
Tenders to be lodged electronically or in the tender box at the RTA's Tender Box, Ground Floor, 260 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills.
