This is a Quality Assurance contract.
Tenders are invited from pre-qualified contractors at Bridgeworks Class B5. In addition, the contractor or any sub-contractor will require pre-qualification R2 for roadworks, A2 for asphalt paving and CC for pretensioned precast concrete.
This work involves the demolition, replacement and widening of bridges and reconstruction of the existing roadway, including earthworks, drainage, pavement, asphalt resurfacing, construction of safety barriers and other miscellaneous works.
Tenders must comply with the NSW Government's Code of Practice for Procurement.
A Pre-Tender Meeting and site inspection will be on Wednesday 7th March 2007starting at 10:00 am at the Cessnock Rugby League Supporters Club, 1 Darwin Street Cessnock followed by a site inspection. Attendance at the Pre-Tender Meeting and site inspection is mandatory in order to submit a conforming tender.
