Tender Details
The Pacific Highway is an AusLink National Network road. This project is jointly funded by the NSW and Australian governments.
The RTA is currently seeking project approval for the Bulahdelah upgrade. In preparation for the next phase, tenders are invited for the development of a detailed design and documentation for the upgrade of the Pacific Highway at Bulahdelah, NSW. The work includes:
1. The development of a full detailed design, and the necessary investigation work associated with its development.
2. Preparation of a construction environmental management plan.
3. Assistance with the preparation of tender documentation, including schedules of quantities and specifications for road and bridge construction.
Tenderers must be able to demonstrate previous experience with the preparation and delivery of detailed designs for major road and bridge works in environmentally sensitive and geotechnically complex areas. Companies with an established record of providing detailed design and documentation for major road contracts are invited to submit tenders.
Tenderers must comply with the NSW Government's Code of Practice for Procurement.
A pre-tender meeting, including a site inspection will be held at 10am on 15 March 2007 at Bulahdelah. Attendance at the meeting and site inspection is mandatory to submit a conforming tender. Tenderers purchasing the documents will be advised later of the details of the meeting.
Tenders must be marked 'Bulahdelah Upgrade Detailed Design and Documentation' and are to be lodged in hard copy at the RTA's tender box, Ground Floor, 260 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills or electronically via the eTender website.
