Tender Details
Transport for NSW requires an At-Residence Noise Treatment Advisory Consultant to provide residential building acoustic treatment scoping, management and advisory services for the Singleton Bypass Project.
Approximately 130 residential and non-residential properties have been identified for treatment. The scope of services include:
• Review of operational noise reporting, confirmation of properties eligible for consideration of noise treatment, and level of noise treatment to be considered on each façade of eligible properties.
• Liaising and co-ordination of residents, property owners, sub-consultants, and builders
• Preparing pre-treatment building inspection reports.
• Preparing the scope for the noise treatment including Mechanical Ventilation
• Transport for NSW and property owner acceptance of the proposed scope.
• Preparing the estimate and detailed design documents for the noise treatment scope of each property.
• Planning the delivery of the noise treatment works and preparing the tender packages for installation of noise treatment works by builders panel contract.
• Surveillance, contract administration and management of the noise treatment installation works.
• Undertaking inspections, detailing non-conformances, preparing completion reports and obtaining completion certificates from owners.
A pre-tender meeting will be held via MS Teams within one week of the Tender publish date. Meeting invitations will be emailed to Contractors who download Tender Documents from the eTender website. Attendance is not mandatory to submit a conforming Application.
Prospective tenderers will need to complete, sign and return the confidentiality deed (in accordance with the instructions in that deed) prior to being given the passcode to access the Request for Tender documents.
All tenderers must comply with the Transport Statement of Business Ethics through the procurement process and any subsequent contract period.

Key personnel nominated by the Contractor to undertake works under the Contract must have a minimum 5 years of experience in residential acoustic treatments.
