Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Rozelle Interchange - Pedestrian & Cyclist Improved Connectivity - Minor Physical Work & Services - 22.0000137059.2266

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is inviting suitably experienced, qualified, and accredited Contractors under the TfNSW Pre-qualification Scheme for Road Works (dated 10th March 2023) with mandatory prequalification levels of F5 (Financial) and R3 (Roadworks) to participate for pedestrian and cyclist improved connectivity works in Inner West Council local roads and TfNSW roads in Rozelle NSW. The scope of works includes construction of speed calming raised thresholds, pavement markings, signage, kerbs, resurfacings, reinstating pavement markings other minor civil works in accordance with TfNSW drawing and specifications.

The proposed improved connectivity maximises the ability to upgrade the pedestrian and cycle infrastructure in the area. The upgrades improve two existing cycle routes within the Rozelle area and provide for safer, more direct and attractive routes linking the Iron Cove Bridge to the Anzac Bridge. The scope of works on the western side of Victoria Road traverses through the local road network and includes pedestrian and cyclist targeted pavement markings, delineation, speed calming measures such as raised thresholds, resurfacings, reinstating pavement markings and other minor civil works. The scope of works along the eastern side of Victoria Road include decluttering the existing shared path by strategically relocating, consolidating, or removing signposts to eliminate dangerous pinch points for pedestrians and cyclists. 

To successfully participate in the tender process for this project, tenderers: 

• Must execute (to the satisfaction of TfNSW) the Confidentiality Deed Poll to receive the tender documents and must return to TfNSW via James.Xu@transport.nsw.gov.au by 12:00PM (AEST) Monday, 7th August 2023.
• Must provide evidence of TfNSW Pre-qualification Scheme for Road Works (dated 10th March 2023) with mandatory prequalification levels of F5 (Financial) and R3 (Roadworks).
• Must attend Pre-Tender meeting on 10:00AM AEDT Friday, 11^th August 2023 Via Teams Links.
