This project is jointly funded by the Australian and NSW governments.
Tenders are being called for the construction of the Devils Pulpit upgrade from contractors pre-qualified with the RTA under the National Pre-qualification system for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts, categories R5, B2 and F50, or higher.
The Devils Pulpit upgrade is located between Iluka Road and Woodburn and will involve the building of 7 kilometres of highway duplication and dual carriageway and a further 3km of widening and median wire rope. The project involves the construction of a new concrete pavement, two new bridges and drainage and fauna structures.
A pre-tender meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 March 2011, attendance is compulsory to submit a conforming tender.
This is a Quality Assurance contract.
All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, in accordance with the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines for the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, August 2009, applies to this project.
