This is a Quality Assurance contract.
Tenders are invited from contractors pre-qualified at Road works Class R80, or higher, for the construction of the Central Coast Highway from Matcham Road, Erina Heights to Ocean View Drive, Wamberal. The contract includes earthworks, retaining walls, drainage, pavement, utility relocations, traffic signals, property adjustments and associated works.
The Asphalt Paving component of the work must be carried out by contractors pre-qualified with the RTA to Class A5 or higher.
The Traffic Signals component of the work must be carried out by contractors pre-qualified with the RTA to Class TS2 or higher.
The earthworks and drainage components of the work must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class E or D respectively or pre-qualified for road works.
The traffic control component of the work must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in G.
The primary testing of the work (including sampling) must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class L2.
A pre-tender meeting, including a site inspection, will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday 14 July 2010 at Breakers Country Club, 64 Dover Rd, Wamberal. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
