Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Great Western Highway Upgrade – Ridge St Lawson to 400m west of Genevieve Rd Bullaburra - RTA.11.2623.1167

This is a quality assurance contract.

 

Tenders are invited from contractors pre-qualified under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts at Roadworks Class R5 and Financial Level 25, or higher, for the reconstruction of 1.6km Section of the Great Western Highway at Bullaburra (east) to four lanes and other associated works.

Trades or areas of work requiring use of Prequalified Contractors are:

·        Class A2 for Asphalt Paving

·        Class K2 for Concrete Paving

·        Class B3 or higher for bridge and retaining walls

·        Class S1 for steel fabrication

·        Class TS02 for traffic control signals, and Class G for traffic control

·        Class L2 for Primary Testing

·        Class S for erosion, sedimentation and soil conservation services.

·        The earthworks and drainage components of the work must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class E or D respectively or prequalified for roadworks.

A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held at Grandview Hotel, 174 Great Western Highway, Wentworth Falls on 24th October 2011 at 10.00AM. Attendance is mandatory in order to submit a conforming tender. Tenderers purchasing the documents will be advised of the full details of the meeting. 

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
