This is a Quality Assurance contract.
The Roads and Traffic Authority of NSW is inviting suitable contractors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to operate and maintain the M5 East Freeway following the completion of the existing contract in December 2011.
The RTA is inviting submissions from organisations that have the relevant experience in undertaking operation and maintenance services (comparable scale) of roads and road tunnels in a major city and to Australian road authority standards or equivalent.
The organisation to provide operation and maintenance services will be selected through a two stage process. The first stage is an EOI, with up to 3 organisations shortlisted and invited to submit a tender. The second stage is expected to include the submission of detailed tenders by those shortlisted applicants, and a detailed evaluation of tenders.
All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
Registration and confidentiality forms must first be submitted to RTA. Following submission of these forms, Volume 1 of the EOI documentation will be available for purchase. A passcode must be entered to access the confidentiality and registration forms.
A briefing meeting will be held at 2.30 pm on Wednesday, 29 September 2010 at Media Room, Level 9, 101 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW.
Attendance at the meeting is mandatory in order to submit a conforming EOI. Volume 2 of the EOI documentation will be available only to tenderers who have attended the briefing meeting.
