Ourimbah Pumping Station (OPS) forms part of the Gosford-Wyong Water Supply system, and is jointly owned by Gosford City and Wyong Shire Councils. As OPS are located in Wyong Shire, Wyong Shire Council operates and maintains the station on behalf of both Councils. The Pump Station was built in 1987.

Council proposes to retro-fit the station with two smaller pumps, rendering the existing hardly used centrifugal pumps (Thompson-Byron Jackson) with 6.6kV, 655kW motors, 33kV power supply and associated switch-and control-gear surplus to the needs.

This invitation is to call for expression of interest for the acquisition of the surplus materials and equipment listed in the Schedule of Purchase Prices.

Material & Equipment subject of this tender will be available for a mandatory inspection on site at WPS17, 37 Chittaway Rd, Ourimbah, NSW on 5 October 2010 between the hours 10.00am to 12.00 noon. Tenderers intending to attend the pre-tender inspection should notify the Contact Officer at least 24 hours prior to the stated inspection time.
