Central Coast Council / Streambank Rehabilitation Works for Three (3) Spring Creek Projects in the Tuggerah Lakes Estuary Catchment. - CPA/188197

Wyong Shire Council through the Estuary Management Unit is implementing the Tuggerah Lakes Estuary Management Plan.  The Plan’s implementation in now in its fourth year and proposes to undertake several more projects during its five year term within the Lake’s catchment, enabling the improvement of the water quality conditions and foreshore ecology in Tuggerah Lake, Budgewoi Lake and Lake Munmorah and upgrading of the amenities surrounding the Lakes amongst others.

This tender encompasses three (3) separable contracts that are primarily concerned with streambank rehabilitation at Spring Creek, Blue Haven.  Tenders may be submitted for one or more of the separable contracts.  Tenders for each separable contract are to be open for acceptance individually or in any combination.

A significant factor in Council's ability to award a contract arising from the tender is the approval of funding under Caring for Our Country by the Federal Government. Whilst it is anticipated at the time of tendering that the grant application will be viewed favourably by the Federal Government, in the event that the grant is not approved, Council may determine not to proceed with any or all of the proposed contracts.
