The Contract for which a Tender in accordance with these conditions is to be made shall be on a Schedule of Rates basis. The initial Tendered rate(s) will be fixed for the first twelve month period of the Contract, thereafter rates can be revised in twelve month intervals based on CPI provisions

 

 

The scope of Contract Works covers the supply and delivery of:

 

·         Various Road Bottom Ash Products

 

to various locations through-out the Wyong Shire local government area, as and when required and over a period of up to 36 months commencing from the date of acceptance of tender.

The material to be supplied under this Contract would be expected to be sourced from the Blue Circle Ash facility at Eraring. Any alternate sources must be clearly shown in the Tender Schedules. Acceptance of material sourced from a location other than the Blue Circle Ash Eraring site, will be subject to the Principal being satisfied that the material offers the same properties as that of the Blue Circle Ash products.

The Principal uses approximately 2,500 tonnes of various Road Bottom Ash products per annum. This amount can vary significantly according to work programmes and weather and is advised purely as a guide only. The Principal neither warrants or guarantees the actual quantity of Road Bottom Ash products required from any single or all approved Contractors.
