Central Coast Council / Supply and Delivery of Various Bulk Garden Supplies - CPA/182963

The Contract for which a Tender in accordance with these conditions is to be made shall be on a Schedule of Rates basis. The initial Tendered rate(s) will be fixed for the first twelve month period of the Contract, thereafter rates can be revised in twelve month intervals based on CPI provisions.

 The scope of Contract Works covers the supply and delivery of:

 ·    Various bulk garden suppliers specifically - Hardwood Chip, Hardwood Fines, Softfall, Garden Mulch and Course Washed River Sand.

to various locations through-out the Wyong Shire local government area, as and when required and over a period of up to 36 months commencing from the date of acceptance of tender.

The Principal uses approximately:

·    2,340 Cubic Metres of Hardwood Chip

·    672 Cubic Metres of Hardwood Fines

·    715 Cubic Metres of Softfall

·    218 Tonnes of Organic Garden Mix and

·    200 Tonnes of Course Washed River Sand per annum.

The amounts can vary significantly according to work programmes and weather and are advised purely as a guide only. The Principal neither warrants or guarantees the actual quantity of bulk materials required from any single or all approved Contractors.

The Principal reserves the right to award Contracts to one or more Tenderer’s and to obtain the specified materials from one or more sources of supply. Subject to tenders received, the Principal is intending to rank suppliers in accordance with price, quality, availability and conformance. Contracts will be awarded based on the best offer received per category. Purchase Orders for supply of specified materials will be issued to Contractors in order of rank.
