Tender Details

The Contract for which a Tender in accordance with these conditions is to be made shall be on a Schedule of Rates basis for a period of up to 36 months Rates tendered are to remain fixed for the initial twelve months of the Contract. Thereafter, and subject to annual rise and fall in accordance with the price variation clause stipulated in the Special Conditions of Contract.

The Principal uses approximately 35,000 square metres of turf per annum. This amount can vary significantly according to work programmes and weather and is advised purely as a guide only. The Principal is seeking a panel of suitably qualified suppliers in which Purchase Orders will be raised on the supplier who has the most economical and suitable turf type available as each situation demands.

The Principal will award Contracts to one or more Tenderer’s. The Principal may rank tenders and award orders on the basis of the ranking order. The Principal neither warrants or guarantees the actual quantity of turf required from any single or all approved Contractors.
