The Contract for which a Tender in accordance with these conditions is to be made shall be on a Schedule of Rates basis for a period of up to 36 months (initial term for 12 months then 2 x 12 month extensions to be granted dependant on satisfactory performances of selected suppliers as determined by Council). Rates tendered are to remain fixed for the initial twelve months of the Contract. Thereafter, and subject to the granting of optional extensions by the Principal, tendered rates will be adjusted for rise and fall based upon movements in the Australian Bureau of Statistics (Sydney, All Groups) Consumer Prices Index. The scope of Contract Works covers the cultivation, supply, delivery and laying of:Cultivated Turf to various locations throughout the Shire of Wyong, as and when required and over a period of up to 36 months commencing from the date of acceptance of tender. The Principal uses approximately 35,000 square metres of turf per annum. This amount can vary significantly according to work programmes and weather and is advised purely as a guide only. The Principal is seeking a panel of suitably qualified suppliers in which Purchase Orders will be raised on the supplier who has the most economical and suitable turf type available as each situation demands.
