Central Coast Council / Warnervale Town Centre Stage 2 Contaminated Land Environmental Site Assessment (additional investigations) and Remediation Action Plan - CPA/149979

The Warnervale Town Centre (WTC) has been identified as a future Centre within Wyong Shire to cater for population growth and retail demand and has been in planning for many years; the site in former years has been subject to varying land uses, some of which have had potential to result in site contamination. A Stage 1 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) of the site was undertaken, followed by an initial Stage 2 ESA. The professional services of an experienced consultancy firm are required to undertake the works recommended in the initial Stage 2 ESA (March 2008) and determine the viability of the proposed development, recommending the remediation methods required to do so. For this, it is required to develop a Sampling Analysis and Quality Plan (SAQP), undertake Field Work, prepare an Assessment Report outlining the findings of the investigations and a Remediation Action Plan (RAP) that identifies the works required to ensure the suitability of the site for the proposed land uses. Council is going to assign and Independent Accredited Certifier to review and approve all the documentation developed. This One-off lump-sum contract is expected to be completed approximately 23 weeks after its commencement. The structure of this project considers separable portions (deliverables), implying that the payment shall take place after the completion of the different deliverables.
