Particulars of the goods or services to be provided under this contract

The NSW Land and Housing Corporation owns and manages land, buildings and other assets within the social housing portfolio, which comprises some 130,000 properties valued at over $35 billion. A new maintenance contract has been developed to maintain these assets which will focus on value for money, and improved contractor accountability and performance. The proposed contract term is 5 years with an option for 2 x 2 year extensions.

The aim of the new contract is to:

• Improve tenant satisfaction

• Improve the quality of maintenance to public housing properties through an accountability shift for quality management to the contractors and a greater focus on quality assurance by LAHC.

• Provide tenants with a direct engagement to the contractor through the Contractor’s Contact Centre.

• Get maintenance requests right the first time by enabling end to end control of the work to the contractors.
