NSW Department of Communities and Justice / Provision of an Employee Assistance Program for the Department of Attorney General and Justice - 0912-11

Tenders are requested from suitably qualified and experienced providers of Employee Assistance Programs to provide high quality and consistent professional services to the employees and their immediate families of the Department of Attorney General and Justice (DAGJ) and its related entities. The service will be provided to DAGJ divisions and related entities including Corrective Services NSW, Attorney General’s Division, Juvenile Justice NSW, Legal Aid, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, and the Information and Privacy Commission.

This confidential service will include general counselling, specialised trauma counselling and support for critical incidents, alcohol and other drug assessment, report writing and counselling.

The requirements include continued consultation with participating agencies regarding the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) including the overall design, management and implementation of the program. Other requirements include secretarial and receptionist services at the contractor’s consulting rooms/offices to facilitate confidential counselling, liaising with other counsellors and welfare agencies, and provide interpreter services where and when requested.

The EAP service is to be provided state-wide.
