Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) are seeking tenders for the provision of specialist security and monitoring services covering critical roles within CSNSW operations.
The services include two (2) Components. Tenderers can tender for one (1) or both of the Components.
Component 1 – Correctional Centre Perimeter Patrol and Boom Gate Operations
The armed and unarmed security services are to be provided at the locations mentioned below. Tenderers must possess a Master Security Licence, and employ Security Officers with full Class 1A and 1F Security Licences, and Category H Firearms Licences for these services.
Perimeter Patrol – Armed 24/7 security officers to provide perimeter security at the Metropolitan Reception and Remand Centre, located on the Silverwater Correctional Complex.
Boom Gate Operations – Unarmed security officers to provide security and safety through controlled entry and egress of pedestrians, vehicles and property via the correctional complex boom gates at Silverwater Correctional Complex, Silverwater; John Morony Correctional Complex, Berkshire Park; and Long Bay Correctional Complex, Matraville.
Component 2 - Electronic Monitoring Unit (EMU) Support Services
The services to be provided comprise the effective monitoring of offender movements and locations in the community through monitoring alarms linked to CSNSW Electronic Monitoring Systems by appropriately trained customer services staff. The EMU is located within the Silverwater Correctional Complex.

Additional Details / Instructions
A mandatory information session and site inspections will be held, commencing at Silverwater on 22 July 2014 at 08.30am.
Attendance at the information session and site inspection is a condition of submitting a tender.
A maximum of two (2) representatives of each tenderer will be permitted to attend.
