NSW Department of Communities and Justice / Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP) Stage 2 - FACS.15.19 Notice

The Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP) will fund non-government service providers to deliver support and accommodation models with the aim of effectively reconnecting unaccompanied children and young people with their families or wider support networks, or enabling them to transition to independence.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the HYAP Stage Two planning and service design process. Service design sessions were attended by a wide range of service providers from across the homelessness, Out-of-Home Care and wider child, youth and family sectors, as well a wide range of NSW government agencies.

Your involvement in these processes has been extremely valuable in allowing FACS to better understand the needs of the client group, and the type, shape and design of service responses required.

Once the necessary internal assessment and review processes have been undertaken, the select tender processes will commence.

Please Note The commencement of the select tender process for Stage Two of the Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP) has been delayed.
