Tender Details

The contractor will provide regular preventative and reactive maintenance for vertical transportation services including lifts/elevators and escalators at Sydney Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium, and associated buildings. The regular maintenance will be performed at prescribed frequencies as outlined in the Statement of Requirement and in accordance with all relevant legislation, standards and codes.

The Contractor will perform all statutory maintenance of the mechanical services and provide an annual fire safety statement for the vertical transport services.

The regular maintenance will be charged on a fixed fee basis. Reactive maintenance will be charged on a variable fee basis (except where the Trust  accepts Option 1 - Comprehensive Maintenance Contract). The Contractor may be invited to perform minor works, however there is no guarantee of work upon appointment under the Contract.

Whilst the Contract is expected to be based upon a regular preventative maintenance pricing model, tenderers must submit optional prices for the provision of the services under a comprehensive maintenance contract model (Option 1).

Tenderers must also submit optional pricing for the maintenance of one additional passenger lift at the IBM Rugby Centre of Excellence under regular and comprehensive contract models (Options 2A and 2B respectively).

Tenderers are also encouraged to submit, in addition to a conforming tender, an alternate tender as outlined in Tender Response Schedule 10.

RFT Type

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.
