Tender Details

CSNSW & JJNSW are seeking tenders jointly for three components relating to the construction, fit out and / or refurbishment of inmate escort vehicles over a three year contract period with the option to extend for 2 x 12 month periods.  These vehicles will be used for the safe and secure transportation of inmates and juvenile detainees. 

For Component 1, the refurbishment and fit out of Inmate Escort Vehicle Bodies, the Department intends to appoint a panel of suppliers. 

For Component 2, the construction of new Cell Units, and the refurbishment and fit out of Cell Unit, a single supplier is preferred however a panel of suppliers may be appointed at the Department’s discretion. 

For Component 3, the construction of new Inmate Escort Vehicle Bodies, a single supplier is preferred however a panel of suppliers may be appointed at the Department’s discretion.

Additional Details / Instructions

A Pre-Tender Briefing and Vehicle Inspection is scheduled for Tuesday 2 August at 10.00am. Attendance is not mandatory however it is highly desirable that organisations intending to submit a Tender do so. The name and contact details of persons attending are to be notified to the Contact Officer by Close of Business 29 July 2016. 

The selected Tenderers must complete and submit the following forms to the Contact Officer prior to release of any Tender specifications documents. This will be required ahead of the Pre-Tender Briefing:
